Automatic updates stop working (No VPN) #2755
Description
Steps to reproduce
- Enable automatic updates.
- Wait an indeterminate number of days until it stops working.
Expected behavior
Library should be updated on the timescale selected 12hrs, daily, etc.
Actual behavior
Library updates on the timescale selected as expected until it eventually doesn't. My current setting is every 12 hours and it is currently saying 19 hours since last update.

Not a duplicate of issue #2477 as no VPN is involved.
The time to failure for automatic updates seems to be quite long. The first and last time this occurred for me was around Nov 14 2025. I only know that because I went to the Mihon Discord to ask about it and just now went and checked when I had posted about it.
It is easy enough to resolve by disabling automatic updates, exiting the app, reopening the app, then enabling automatic updates again. I also found specifically that exiting the app between disabling and enabling automatic updates was mandatory to resolve the issue. Hopefully someone can look into what is happening on such a long time scale ( 18 days since last occurrence) to cause automatic updates to stop working.
