Rust - trying to get the touchscreen to work.

I just got a CYD and I managed to get the screen to work but I'm still struggling with the touchscreen.
I am using this library(github).

I did check that I got the pins right, and I don't see any mistakes.

does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this?
